November 11th ~ 15th

Parent-teacher conferences are a wonderful time to visit about your child's progress in class and I want to thank all of you for carving time out of your schedules to meet. As I've mentioned before, this is a remarkable group of young people and I am privileged to spend each day with these kids.

Don't forget to honor a veteran on Monday. We will spend a few minutes on Monday morning to learn a bit about the history of Veteran's Day and to contemplate the sacrifices made for our great nation. Some basic information about this day is located at http://www1.va.gov/opa/vetsday/vetdayhistory.asp and the kids will complete a short scavenger hunt of information from this site.
